CalMac catering staff given a taste of culinary success

FERRY operator CalMac was shortlisted in the recent Food and Drink Awards.

The company narrowly missed out on a Scottish Sourcing gong for its usage of local products.

CalMac is a major supporter of many small- and medium-sized producers across its 200-mile network.

A spokeswoman for CalMac said: ‘From serving local and, more broadly, Scottish produce in our dishes, through to stocking food, drink, artisan skincare and craft products, and local interest books and newspapers in our on-board shops, the company has shown long-term commitment to helping businesses in some of Scotland’s most fragile economic areas.’
