1 CBD
Cannabidiol aka CBD is found in cannabis plants, which are, of course, illegal in most countries, but is also found in hemp (which can be legally grown in the UK with a license). CBD picked up attention throughout 2018, as more companies added it to food and drink products and the debate surrounding the medicinal benefits of CBD continued. It can be purchased from high-street health stores in the form of supplement.
CBD reportedly helps relieve anxiety, due to the relaxing properties of the compound. It is available in the form of oils, capsules, and creams to apply to painful areas. More recently, CBD is also starring in coffee and a range of snacks, such as gummy sweets (some of which are vegan, too).
