FROM THE CEO
Euan Sutherland
Hello everyone, I hope you had a restful Easter, and that the joys of spring have brought some welcome relief from the recent tsunami of depressing reports on the news -what Prime Minister Harold Macmillan would have called: 'Events, dear boy, events.'
It's when disaster strikes that the wisdom born of experience comes into its own. Our older readers -those who perhaps grew up during the Second World War or lived through the shocking inflation of the 1970s -can draw on the certain knowledge that better times will return once again. The trick is to keep calm and carry on -something many of you who are considerably more experienced than I am know a great deal about.
