lisabeth Shue and Terence Stamp are upstaged by an orangutan playing a psychotic chimpanzee butler in this darkly comic fright flick. The best of the short-lived ’80s spate of murderous monkey movies, this quirky thriller benefits from a knowing script and playful Hitchcockian touches added by helmer Richard Franklin (Psycho II).
