Today I didn’t feel like writing. There were plenty of excuses. I’d had a bad night’s sleep. My back ached. The day was dark and damp and weather like that always drains my energy. A day off would do me good. The latter works sometimes when I’m short on ideas and need to get out and do something different. Ideas come when we are concentrating on other things.
