All our senses come into focus when we write a poem.
In the fast pace of life it is easy to believe that we experience the world primarily through our eyes. However, by concentrating hard when our powers of perception are heightened we can bring our other senses into play. Our heightened awareness will stimulate the imagination and our ideas can be recorded into poems.
