EMIRATES HAS unveiled the blueprints for an ambitious project to upgrade the interior cabins on 120 of its widebody jets.
The refit – managed entirely by Emirates Engineering – is due to officially start from November with 67 Airbus A380s planned for retrofitting initially, followed by 53 Boeing 777s. According to the Dubai-based carrier, to keep pace with this busy schedule it plans to completely retrofit four widebodies per month “continuously” over a period of more than two years.
