BOEING HAS handed over its first 787 Dreamliners in more than a year after the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved the manufacturer’s inspection and modification plans.
A statement from the regulator issued on August 8 said: “Boeing has made the necessary changes to ensure that the 787 Dreamliner meets certification standards. The FAA will inspect each aircraft before an airworthiness certificate is issued and cleared for delivery.”
