Connecting indoors and out is often the driver to choosing glazed doors – but they can also add real wow factor to your home. French doors offer a timeless solution, for instance, while bifolds and sliders can offer a seamless transition outside. New pivot doors add an extra dimension, featuring a single-leaf panel that can frame views spectacularly.
French doors
These units are ideal if you’re creating a period-style home and looking for a cost-effective route to incorporating a glazed entrance. Timber framing is the traditional option, although PVCu is great for tighter budgets.
French doors are a wonderful choice for smaller areas, especially if your goal is to let in plenty of sunshine and incorporate fixed glazing around the door. Want more character? Crittall-style units with steel framing and distinctive glazing bars add a modern, industrial flourish.
