As the UK steers towards a net-zero carbon future, the shift to renewable heating will happen sooner or later. The government has said it will ban the installation of fossil fuel heating systems, such as natural gas boilers, in new build homes from 2025, and is enshrining a target in law to cut emissions by 78% by 2035.
