When Build It first hit the shelves back in 1989, our original strapline was: ‘your dream home built by you.’ That’s not far too off the wording we use in 2021; although today, we’d define self building as the process of commissioning and delivering a bespoke house. That’s because this route is a great option for anyone – not just those with construction experience – with expert advice and real-world project support now widely available to help you along the journey to your individual home.
