WizTree 4.27
DRIVE-SPACE ANALYSER

What you need: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 or 11
WizTree offers a speedy free way to analyse the contents of your hard drives, so you can see which files and folders take up the most space. It claims to be 46 times faster than its closest rival, WinDirStat (www.windirstat.net), and is regularly updated with new features and performance improvements.
Version 4.27 introduces the useful ability to search for and filter files by time modified, as well by name or type. It’s not immediately obvious how to use this new option, but it will help you quickly locate items whose names you can’t recall.
To try it, first scan a drive or folder in WizTree then click the ‘Filter scan results’ (funnel) button below the Scan button. To find files modified before a specific time, type a less-than symbol then an equals symbol followed by the time, for example <=8.00pm. To find files modified in, for example, the last 10 minutes or hours, type >NOW-10m or >NOW-10h – using ‘m’ for minutes and ‘h’ for hours.
