Why don’t you recommend switching from W10 to Linux?
As a regular reader of your magazine, I’m surprised you’re not advising Windows 10 users who can’t upgrade to 11 to switch their machines to an open-source alternative, such as the Cinnamon edition of Linux Mint (pictured right). It’s very easy to do. I’m 73 years old and certainly no tech expert, but managed to do it easily. There appears to be a world of free software for Linux to match anything Windows has, and they come in secure package managers not just downloaded from here, there and everywhere. This makes it a more secure system than Windows.
