AH, FEBRUARY, HELLO THERE. Here you are, back again, before we are ready for you and your regular routines and back-to-work energy. How we are supposed to snap back into action, brain cells buzzing and synapses firing, after the holiday haze and ease of January, I will never know.
It certainly takes us a while to wind back up at our house – although it must be said that a sugary incentive can be immensely helpful here. Cake always helps to keep morale up, and never more so than in February as we navigate the return of alarm clocks and early morning school drop-offs.
