WELCOME TO YOUR RUNNING MONTHLY AND A LOOK BACK AT 2016

WHERE has the year gone? Already we find ourselves in December and allowing our minds to drift towards what 2017 might hold in store.

Before we get lost in future plans and endeavours, however, let’s pause and consider what has been a remarkable 12 months.

Success stories have abounded. Ben Smith and his 401 Challenge proved a true inspiration to many while, at the more elite end of the running world, so did Highgate Harriers’ Night of the 10,000m PBs. The success of both had much to do with tapping into the power of the running community and getting people who love the sport involved.
