Oh baby, baby, Britney’s catalogue is getting some long overdue love. All her albums bar 2016’s already-vinylled Glory are being issued three at a time on coloured vinyl in a variety of hues, with many titles making their UK LP debut.
Taken all at once, it’s a heady brew of perfect pop which has defined the last two decades. There was the seismic arrival of …Baby One More Time in 1999 that bugled the birth of a superstar, followed by the coronation of the following year’s Oops!… I Did It Again – an incredible one-two punch to launch Britney that’s seldom been bettered.
