These 12 songs salute her inspirations, with tracks by Elvis Costello, The Pretenders and David Bowie all receiving makeovers. “I wanted to go a little leftfield,” she says, as highlights include unique interpretations of Walking After Midnight, As Tears Go By and Morrissey’s Every Day Is Like Sunday.
