Q When did you first become a Superfan of Japan and why do you like them?
A I would caveat this by saying I don’t regard myself as a Superfan. I think there are friends more deserving of that title who have followed the band from the beginning. I first became aware of Japan in early 1981 after a friend suggested that I would like their Quiet Life album. Their music has become various reference points in my life; they take me back in time.
