Nestled in a loop of the River Severn, Shrewsbury’s sloped, tree-lined The Quarry is a fine setting for the annual Let’s Rock extravaganza.
Twelve months ago, when the show was last here, it was one of the UK’s hottest days on record. Today, it’s a very different story, with the British weather rapidly switching between sunshine, drizzle and massive downpours – often within minutes.
