Many RSS feeds provide a synopsis of each article, aiming to have you click through to the website to read the rest. Plenty of RSS apps counter this by having ‘Reader’ or full-feed buttons or modes. In some cases, you can even set individual feed subscriptions to aways automatically pull down full article text, so you don’t have to lift a finger.

SS isn’t opinionated. It’s intentionally neutral, leaving RSS apps and services to decide how feeds should be displayed. That can mean some setup work before you find a system that feels right. But it does mean you get to choose how you use RSS – and that flexibility is part of the appeal.
One option is to use a hosted web service such as Feedly (Free, IAPs, feedly.com), Feedbin ($5, around £4.50/per month, feedbin.com) or Inoreader (Free, IAPs, inoreader.com) as the ‘engine’ for your feeds.
