Family appeals to late mother’s colleagues for clues about asbestos dust exposure

THE FAMILY of a Highland woman are appealing for former work colleagues to come forward to help them find out how their mum contracted the disease that killed her.

When Margaret McClounnan died in August, aged 65, she was mid-way through an investigation into her own health’s deterioration.

Her family want to continue that investigation in her name. They say all the clues to her condition, mesothelioma, lie with her former work colleagues who may also have been exposed to the same dangers as she was.
