Argyll College UHI is running a ‘Field to Fork’ competi ti on for all Argyll and Arran schools to encourage senior phase students to explore local horti culture, aquaculture, agriculture and hospitality industries.
The competi ti on invites teams of up to four students to work with a local business (either food producer, manufacturer, processor, or restaurant) to produce a menu using local Argyll produce for a set budget.
From the submitt ed menus, three finalists will be invited to come to Oban Learning Centre on Tuesday November 1 to cook their menus, to be judged by the college’s hospitality tutors along with a local guest chef.
