Business park traffic is not the sticking point

I would like to respond to the column in The Oban Times re the traffic congestion in and around Fort William. It was stated that the construction of the new business park is causing part of the problem. Whoever said that are way off the mark!

Anyone who has passed this part of the road will surely agree that it is the only area where there is no hold up. In fact the construction companies and staff deserve a hearty pat on the back for their professionalism and understanding re flow of traffic.

An easy target to blame for a problem that Highland Council have brushed under the carpet for years. No action over the years to traffic congestion in the Fort William area is a massive understatement.
