Autumn has arrived at Resipole Studios and Fine Art Gallery

1 September – 22 October 2017

RESIPOLE Studios and Fine Art Gallery launched its annual autumn show on Friday September 1, which presents a solo show of work by Kirstie Cohen in the main gallery; a joint showcase of art by Anna King and Ellis O’Connor in the white gallery, as well as a group exhibition in the Red Gallery. The exhibitions run until October 22.

North Atlantic Light, by multi-award winning artist, Cohen, is a series of landscape paintings on show in the main gallery. This is Cohen’s first solo exhibition at Resipole, which showcases a collection of more than 20 abstract oil paintings, inspired by the west coast of Scotland. By applying thick layers of textured paint, Cohen conveys the tumultuous skies and dramatic scenery of the Scottish coastline.
