Brakes Scotland ‘beefs’ up range with new brand

SCOTCH Beef PGI is now available via Brakes Scotland as part of its continued commitment to the Scottish food and drink industry.

The 28-day aged beef, supplied by Scottish Gourmet, has been sourced from selected farms throughout Scotland that adopt best practice, including animal welfare and natural production methods, and is being sold under Brakes Scotland’s new fresh brand, which will initially include 11 Scotch beef products.

Based in Biggar, Scottish Gourmet and the wider company, Browns Food Group, have been working with Brakes since 2004, supplying cooked meats and fresh turkey products, as well as their specialist seafood and poultry range since 2010.
