AS OUR THOUGHTS TURN to summer holidays, many of us will be tempted to spend as much time as we can basking in the sun. But as we Brits can be at risk of overdoing it (‘Mad dogs and Englishmen’, etc), it’s a good idea to know how to recognise the signs that we’ve exposed ourselves to too much sun. And to learn what to do if we find ourselves in trouble, either with heat exhaustion or the more serious heatstroke.
