Supermassive Games has been iterating on its interactive-horror-film format for over a decade, but isn’t handling the direct sequel to its most celebrated effort. The job instead falls to another UK studio, the Sony-owned Firesprite, which has been pulled away from its typical duties supporting PSVR2. The trailer quickly underlines why the teen-slasher movie is still the ideal inspiration here, with its ready-made gaggle of self-obsessed brats whose bloody deaths will entertain us as much as any narrow escapes.
