ONCE again a very interesting collection of Panorama photographs (September issue). The seagull at Bristol Temple Meads reminded me of the occasion when I was at Llandudno Junction for the visit of No. 70000 Britannia on a ‘North Wales Express’. Although a few years ago (1996!), readers might be interested in seeing the very protective seagull that remained firmly on its nest of three eggs, even though the loco was whistling and departing rather loudly. A good parent, indeed!
