CAMBRIDGESHIRE & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) has confirmed it has made an award of £350,000 which will be used to create a strategic outline business case which will set out future aspirations for improvements in the Station Quarter site. £60,000 has already been committed by partners Network Rail, Peterborough City Council and LNER.
It will take around six months to prepare the business case, at which point a bid will be made to CPCA for funding under the Levelling Up Fund Round Two Transport scheme for up to £50 million from Government to make the plans a reality.
