THE all-new Pelletstown station in northwest Dublin was due to officially open on September 26, becoming the newest stopping point to open on the Iarnród Éireann-Irish Rail (IÉ) network since 2013.
The station lies between Ashtown and Broombridge on the Dublin to Maynooth/ M3 Parkway line and has been constructed to serve the nearby community of Ashington together with a new development at Royal Canal Park. Pelletstown will be served by up to 94 trains each day, Monday to Friday, and offers a 12-minute journey time to and from the city centre.
