Last December, the enigmatic quartet played a single night at London’s 12,500-capacity Wembley Arena – the climax of a year that had seen them blow up on TikTok, tour on both sides of the Atlantic, and welcome thousands more worshippers to their congregation. Tonight is the first of two dates at The O2, on an arena tour that will reach a combined total of 115,000 people. In June, they’ll headline Download festival. With such a quick rise, the question is: can they carry these big shows?
