REFORM joy in Derbyshire, where the party romped home in Long Eaton North – by a whopping 23 votes! Owen Ferron (745 votes) was victorious in the council by-election, smashing the Conservatives (722) into second place. The by-election was triggered by the resignation of the previous Reform councillor, who had won last May by 354 votes. Onwards and downwards!
