PRIOG PRESENTS…
Discovering
Comedy of Errors
Doyens of Glasgow’s music scene, Comedy of Errors spearheaded the progressive rock revival and performed their first live show in May 1984. Their self-titled mini album followed two years later and in 1987, the band ventured into Europe for their memorable performance at the Paradiso in Amsterdam.
After vocalist Joe Cairney’s departure in 1989, the band entered an extended hiatus. However, keyboard player Jim Johnston continued writing music, leading to a reunion in 2011 after Johnston and Cairney reconnected during a gig at The Ferry in Glasgow. They’ve since released six albums, all of which have met with critical acclaim. They’ve also captivated audiences at many of prog’s most prestigious festivals, including RoSFest and Night Of The Prog in Loreley.
