WORDS BY JAMES KONIK
» [Amstrad CPC] A teddy bear! But you’ve got to get up there and dodge that pointy finger if you want it.
[Amstrad CPC] Successfully say boo to a goose, and it will lay a golden egg, or erg as the game calls them.
» [Amstrad CPC] Enemies in Sweevo’s World are very quick, and the goose-stepping dictator isn’t easy to escape from.
THIS MONTH IN NOVEMBER 1991
Mags were under pressure in late-1991, with Newsfield’s closure hitting Crash and Zzap!64. Elsewhere, tycoon Robert Maxwell’s death would have implications for gaming as Mirrorsoft, publisher of this month’s Turtles demo, fell into receivership. There was also a minor scandal as an Amstrad Action reader attempted to win £20 with a type-in pinched from Amstrad’s manual. The tape is strong though, with the Turtles joined by quirky classic Sweevo’s World, and the weird explore-’em-up Terror Of The Deep. There were also two apps, a music tool and a full art package, to enjoy.
