We’ve been talking about Codemasters a lot lately as we planned out this issue’s celebratory cover feature. From its early days as a successful budget label, through to its current position as a developer of distinguished racing games, the studio triggers plenty of memories.
DARRAN
Were you introduced to Codemasters via its range of budget games?
MARTYN
Absolutely. The first one I played would have been BMX Simulator, which was great value for £1.99. I played that a lot, especially with mates in two-player mode. Then came the Dizzy games from the Oliver twins. I owned all of those. I bet you had the Dizzy games on your Amstrad CPC Darran?
DARRAN
All the Dizzy games, even the naff spin-offs like Dizzy Down The Rapids.
