PLACING GOLD, SILVER
It hasn’t sunk in yet. You work for so long and the extra year made it all so unknown. Going into the Olympics we hadn't raced for two years, so we could have been well off the pace, or in the mix. I went into the pair’s A-final thinking let's go out there and race our race. It’s an Olympic final so we knew people would throw everything into it. I thought it was best for at least the first kilometre to do our race and then assess the competition.
