■ A warm invitation is extended to all parents to go along to Lochaber High School’s first open evening of the year tonight (Thursday September 27) from 7-8pm, and which is being held in the assembly hall. This is an informal but important evening to keep parents informed of the continued improvements and recent developments at Lochaber High School. The school’s new Chrome Books will feature in discussions on the night. Parents will have an opportunity to ask questions and explore what new developments mean for their child.

■ Part two of Lochaber Sensory Care’s AGM is being held in the Alexandra Hotel this Saturday, September 29. The meeting will run from 2-4pm.
