ONE of the key pillars of the pro-Putin regime in Georgia – currently torturing protesters and sliding into Belarus-style dictatorship – is television network Imedi TV.
It’s a conspiracist propaganda outfit that spits out a diet of hate amenable to the Tbilisi government. Oddly enough, it’s domiciled in highly agreeable, er, South Kensington, owned by Irakli Rukhadze and his private equity firm Hunnewell Partners.
