£ “That was an unforgettable experience,” Gabrielle Wall told reporters in Christchurch (New Zealand), “and I am so proud to have pushed myself to new limits, the 300 kgs of Lego we used were donated by a charity, and were placed along a single lane of an athletics track. I ran with a wider stance than normal so that I could stay balanced on the track, and although I had a little stumble at one point, I quickly caught myself and made it to the end in time. I now hold the world record for running 100 metres barefoot on Lego bricks, with a time of 24.75 seconds.”
