SHUDDER Horror movies featuring malevolent objects are nothing new – 1977’s Death Bed and 1991’s The Refrigerator spring to mind, as do Quentin Dupieux’s sentient tyre film Rubber and the red dress rattling about on its hanger in Peter Strickland’s In Fabric. But this Canadian effort uses a particularly amusing example.
