CUPRA FORMENTOR
Similar update for related crossover
THIS IS Alandmark moment for Cupra as a brand: it has given its first stand-alone model a mid-life update. The Formentor was the first Cupra that wasn’t a go-faster Seat. In fact, it always offered a range of powertrains, including some very sensible ones.
Landmark or not, the actual changes to the car aren’t earthshattering, particularly if you’ve just read my review of the facelifted Leon (left). It’s pretty much all the same stuff: some visual updates, a better touchscreen inside, more electric-only range for the plug-in hybrid version (pictured) and more power and better chassis hardware for the fast four-wheel-drive petrol.
