It feels strange to get to November without having conducted, let alone published, our Britain’s Best Driver’s Car feature, but for me there is a pleasing symmetry in how it’s running (from p44) in this issue – 2024’s cars tested as late as possible in 2024.
November begins, then, with a hectic schedule of chatting to Jonathan Palmer at the Royal Automobile Club at the start of London Motor Week for a podcast, before heading immediately up to Cadwell Park, one of Palmer’s circuits, to conduct the feature. Then the road testers head off to get road test numbers on the Ford Mustang, aUK drive story verdict on the Analogue Supersport Lotus Elise restomod, and I go to drive the Albion Dog Cart on the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, and then the Alpine A290, all published by mid-November.
