ITHOUGHT IWAS SPECIAL
As a Jaguar fan and owner, I was very surprised to see its new tagline: “We’re here to delete ordinary. To go bold. To copy nothing.”
I’d never realised Jaguar thought the cars it had been building for the past 100 years were ordinary. Hatfields Jaguar in Wakefield, now closed, never told me I was buying an ordinary car. I’d been delighted with my two E-Paces and F-Pace.
Well, don’t worry, Jaguar: I won’t be buying an ordinary car again. I’d hate to be seen in an ordinary car. I hope when your new showrooms are opened, selling non-ordinary electric cars to wealthier customers, people like me will still be allowed in to get our ordinary cars serviced.
What a stupid situation to create.

KILLED THE CAT
The mismanagement of Jaguar is nothing less than a national tragedy. It is so bad you have to wonder if it is a deliberate strategy to kill the company, which it probably will.
