I have worked in the financial services industry for nearly 40 years. Your article, “Chasing Shadows”, was an excellent summary of the dangers of shadow banking (In the City, Eye 1647). Alas I sense your correspondent is correct: we are at the start of Credit Crunch 2. And it may make CC1 look like a walk in the park.
