Divide and ruling

I know your magazine has generally kept out of the “TERF wars” citing lack of general interest outside of the directly involved parties, which I agree is probably the case, though you would never know it from the number of hate pieces run by the right-wing press and the anti-trans rhetoric from the well-funded so-called women’s rights group Sex Matters & For Women Scotland, plus the Tufton St think tank LGB Alliance, not to mention the Conservative Party.
After reading the piece by ‘Lady Justice’ in your latest issue (“Difficult transitions”, p8, Eye 1648), she seems to be of the opinion that the gender critical campaigners and politicians such as Wes Streeting, Rosie Duffield, Joanna Cherry et al are somehow due some kind of apology for not having been listened to sooner, and though she makes a passing mention to the trans people quietly living their lives, it is clear where Lady Justice’s sympathies lie.
