DEMOLIZER
Thrashmageddon
Danish neckwreckers make an anti-authoritarian racket
MIGHTY MUSIC
After turning heads (and bothering necks) last year when they earned a place in the finals of the Danish Wacken Metal Battle, Demolizer have been steadily earning an army of admirers. Their debut album is sure to swell their ranks and it’s a lightning-fast, impeccably performed record that’s loaded with rapier riffs. (NTC, Built On Slavery). Describing themselves as “a big, angry middle finger pointed towards the establishment,” the four-piece deliver nine intense and aggressive tracks in thrall to Slayer and Exodus. What they lack in any invention they more than make up for with passion, precision and pit-ready anthems such as Lost In Torment and Cancer In The Brain.
