JAMIE LENMAN
The former Reuben man doles out some vital ’tache tips and is apparently very impressed by the colour green
WORDS: STEPHEN HILL
What’s the worst thing about being in a band?
“Not being able to get paid for your calling, your vocation. It used to be a career option, an actual viable job choice, but now you can’t get paid enough from being in a band… So that’s why I’m not in a band anymore.”
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
“I think it was - this is gonna sound dopey - ‘Don’t go to bed angry!’ No, that’s not relevant, actually I was speaking to a guy about illustration and he said that you should always do what you think is the right thing to do and other people will eventually catch on. I think I’ve always tried to do that. I think that advice is very valuable.”
