The XP boat goes to assess the condition of the grounded yacht near Lismore.
Obanfilifeboat was called out on Saturday to help a grounded yacht off Lismore. The volunteer crew of the Mora Edith MacDonald were requested to launch at 6pm after a report of a yacht with one person aboard, which had run aground off Bernera island.
The lifeboat departed the bay and made best speed towards the scene. Once the vessel was located, the lifeboat’s XP boat was launched and two volunteer crew members proceeded to assess the situation.
