After ventures that included flogging Hong Kong military surplus for the Ministry of Defence during the handover to China, he moved into commercial property with deals to convert Samsung’s northeast factory into his Wynyard Park Development, and the redevelopment of a former Pfizer factory in Kent into a trading estate.
