DEADLY DIAGNOSES
Watt a shame
THE inquests into the deaths of three patients of Dr Michael Watt
(pictured)
have been put on hold as a coroner seeks to compel the disgraced consultant neurologist to answer questions at long last.
Separate hearings into the deaths of Barbara Perkins, Rachel Holmes and Henrietta Martin heard evidence this month at Banbridge Courthouse in Northern Ireland from family members and GPs who had concerns about the diagnoses and prescriptions of powerful drugs given to the three women after they were referred to Dr Watt, then a consultant for the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
